“Ka gwapa mga kwarto sa silong uy!”
Mabuhay BalikbayanMay 2008
Lively and full of laughter, Ms. Tess Flaviano, a bouncy 65 year old grandma enjoys herself each time she stays at the Manor. “Ok na ok dito, lahat kaibigan ko na, tulad ni Charlie sa housekeeping…” she says. Charlie’s efforts to keep their room clean were well appreciated by this guest along with her two apo’s who have been at the Manor for seven days now. Every time she goes to Manila, she never fails to check-in at The Mabuhay Manor. “My colleagues from the press are staying at other hotels. But I prefer it here—it is convenient and the service is wonderful.” Ms. Flaviano worked for The Daily Mirror, a newspaper based in Davao. “Ang ganda ng kwarto sa silong uy! Next time dalhin ko talaga buong pamilya dito!” They were planning to hotel hop during the seven days stay in Manila but decided to continue their stay at Mabuhay Manor. Her decision to stay came as fast as she saw how excellent the room service was and how conveniently the hotel was located. When asked how she found her seven-day stay so far, Ms. Flaviano replies, “Ok masyado, approve without thinking!”
Have you been away from home for so long? We miss you as much as you miss the family, friends, the beach, the heartwarming smiles, balut, penoy, taho, ihaw, alimango, halu-halo, Divisoria, Baclaran and the list goes on. But reminisce no more because here in The Mabuhay Manor, you are our most treasured guest.
Good times and much-needed family bonding is priority in our guest packages. Rooms are big enough to accommodate loved ones and family extensions such as lola, lolo, cousins, uncles and aunts who surely love to hear juicy details of your life abroad asap. Why wait to get to your hometown when friends and families can surprise you with a bienvenida as soon as your plane arrives in the country.
Mabuhay Manor is the First Balikbayan Hotel in the country and this is evident in the festive cultural and culinary treats offered to guests who have been craving for home.
